We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ'sWorkshop Supervisor, you will play an integral leadership role within our workshop team in the Cairns depot.
You will be conducting and supervising all workshop activities of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles. You will be actively involved in the tuition, mentoring and assessment of apprentices.
Additionally, the Cairns workshop supports JJs operational fleet in both Mareeba and Innisfail.

Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
Be a proven people leader
Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail
Ability mentor and coach other mechanics and apprentices
Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
HR licence
Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus
Work well individually and as part of a team
Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry
Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders
