The Opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity exists for a motivated Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) Administrator to join a friendly and professional team. In this role, you'll work closely with the superannuation accounting group and play an important part in the preparation, coordination and administration of SMSF documentation and processes.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Managing, organising and prioritising daily administrative and office tasks to support smooth workflow across the superannuation team.
* Maintaining accurate electronic and physical records, ensuring documentation is complete, up-to-date and easily accessible.
* Providing high-quality administrative support to team members, contributing to strong productivity and efficient service delivery.
* Preparing SMSF audit documentation, liaising with auditors and ensuring all supporting information is accurate and compliant.
* Assisting accountants with the preparation of client work papers and supporting broader practice administration requirements.
Your Skills & Experience:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise professionally with internal staff and auditors.
* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Interest in developing skills within SMSF administration and accounting support.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and an eagerness to learn new practice and financial systems.
* Experience with MYOB AE or BGL360 is beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
