Maternal and Child Health Nurse
Fixed Term Position Available – Until July 2026
Up to 22.8 hours per week (Hours negotiable)
Salary: $57.32 per hour plus qualification allowance and 12% superannuation
Location: Morwell, Moe, Traralgon & Churchill

The Role
Our Maternal & Child Health Nurses provide advisory, supportive, and educative primary health and support services to families with children from birth to school age. In this role you will deliver Key Age and Stage consultations to assess, screen and monitor the health, growth and physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children from birth to school age and develop specific programs and strategies to assist families during this time.
About you
We are looking someone who is passionate and has previous experience in providing advice, support, and education to families with children from birth to school age. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a non-judgmental approach, and the ability to communicate with families, groups, other employees, and other service providers.
You\'ll need
- Registered Nurse with the Victorian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Qualifications in Midwifery.
- Qualifications and previous experience working as a Maternal & Child Health Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proven experience to manage own time, determine priorities, plan and organise workload.
- Current Victorian driver\'s license.
