**About the role: Electronics Technician**
This support relates primarily to the repair, alignment, commissioning and trials of military and commercial electronic equipment and systems.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide Depot Level and Field Engineering services for Combat Systems equipment installed in RAN vessels.
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior technical staff, other trades and contractors involved in the installation, commissioning and testing activities associated with Combat Systems electronic systems installed locally and at remote stations
- Manage minor projects and tasks including the technical direction, estimating, scheduling and progress reporting activities associated with the project.
- Prepare technical reports and procedures in support of Weapons and Combat Electronic Systems
**How about you?**
- Advanced Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering OR
- Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems with experience in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Navy weapons electronics systems
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Drivers licence class A
**Good to Know**
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
