Occupational Therapist Role
An experienced occupational therapist will provide support to residents' physical and psycho-social wellbeing through tailored therapy programs at our care centre.
The successful candidate will develop meaningful relationships with residents, assess their functional abilities, and plan appropriate treatment and activity programs. They will also monitor equipment, supervise assistants and volunteers, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
This role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy, current registration, and previous experience in aged care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to relate to the elderly with empathy, and demonstrate flexible decision-making and problem-solving skills.
