Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to work with our client, a successful QLD-based company with existing brands and products in the stationery, lab & clinical wear, apparel, and textile sector looking to continue to grow!
THE COMPANY: Our client is a successful Australian owned, QLD based, family business with existing brands and products in the lab & clinical wear, apparel, stationery and textile sectors with a focus on children's and university markets. They sell products through their online stores, wholesale and distributor arrangements, and regular pop-up stores, with their head office situated in a peaceful leafy suburb in Ipswich QLD.

Key Responsibilities
* Responsibility for delivering excellence in the sales process and business development activities, and managing key accounts.
* Managing existing customer relationships as well as developing new customer relationships.
* Being involved in developing growth strategy and implementing new business development activities leading to increased customer base, sales and revenue.
* Delivering high standard, friendly and professional customer service in all facets of the role – whether it be dealing with existing or new customers, suppliers, or internal colleagues.
* Being a competent and collaborative team member; quickly becoming part of the team, including getting up to speed on the products and brand, contributing to a positive team culture, collaborating and coordinating with co-workers, and delegation of tasks as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
* A desire and passion to learn about the business's product lines and be an integral part of the team in delivering exceptional customer service and realising their vision for growth.
* Deliver customer delight through your high-level customer service, sales, business development, and/or account management experience.
* Proven experience in sales, business development, account management and relationship management in a B2B context.
* Experience working in a wholesale sales environment with products such as stationery, children's products, apparel, uniforms, textiles, or similar would be beneficial, but not essential.
* Ability to be involved in high level strategy and identify growth opportunities to build and grow customer base and sales.
* Ability to take initiative, identify new opportunities, generate leads and build the customer base in line with organisational goals.
* Proven ability to problem-solve, focus on success and exceed customer expectations.
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with existing customers, prospective customers and suppliers.
* Systems and IT savvy; working knowledge of the following systems would be advantageous (although not essential): Cin7, Jira, Gorgias.
* Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

* This is a hybrid role with a mix of office + work from home/remote.
* The office is based in Ipswich QLD - you may be required in the office approx 1 day per week.
