Great Southern Fuel Supplies is a 100% Western Australian family-owned bulk fuel and lubricant distributor that has been operating since 1976. The company has grown from a one truck operation to being Australia's largest independent distributor of bp products, with 14 depots and numerous retail sites across the state.
Great Southern Fuel Supplies Pty Ltd are currently seeking a motivated Fuel Transport Scheduler to join our team based in our Forrestfield head office. This critical role will manage the complex logistics and delivery schedules for our Kalgoorlie and Goldfields operations, ensuring our regional customers never run dry. Key Responsibilities
* Dynamic Scheduling: Plan and optimise routes for bulk fuel deliveries from terminals to customer sites.
* Fleet Allocation: Effectively allocate company drivers and assets to meet daily demand.
* Real-Time Support: Maintain live communication with drivers and clients to manage delivery statuses and site updates.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all scheduling adheres to CoR regulations and WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation.
* Inventory Management: Monitor customer fuel levels and coordinate proactive dispatch.
About You
* Proven background in transport scheduling or fleet allocation, preferably within the fuel or dangerous goods industry.
* A strong understanding of the Goldfields/Kalgoorlie regional road networks is highly advantageous.
* Proficient in transport management systems (TMS) and route-optimisation software.
* Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Management requirements.
* Ability to build rapport with drivers and regional stakeholders from a remote office.
* Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
