As a seasoned accounting leader, you will spearhead the daily operations of our finance team. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, inventory management, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of accounting, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and inventory control.
* Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.
* Lead period-end close processes, encompassing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
* Cultivate relationships with external auditors and ensure timely delivery of statutory financial statements and tax returns.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* CPA/CA designation preferred.
* No less than 8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, and tax.
* Big Four experience highly valued.
* Experience working with multinational corporations is an asset.
* In-depth knowledge of GAAP principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite).
* Demonstrated leadership skills, with expertise in team management and performance evaluation.
