Nu Pure Beverages is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to deliver capital projects across our manufacturing network. While we operate plants in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and South East QLD, this role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or South East QLD, with travel required to support project delivery.
This role suits an engineer who prefers on-site work, involved in installation and commissioning, rather than managing projects purely from a desk.
The Role
You will deliver engineering projects end‑to‑end, with a strong focus on equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness. Working closely with site teams, OEMs, contractors, and senior engineering stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
You'll be trusted to independently deliver capital projects, with support from the National Engineering Manager. Regular travel between Nu Pure sites is required during the installation and commissioning phases.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover
* Support CAPEX scopes, cost estimates, schedules, risks, and assumptions
* Coordinate equipment installation, contractors, shutdowns, and site access
* Lead and support commissioning activities, including FAT, SAT, and functional testing
* Drive technical design reviews with OEMs and internal engineering stakeholders
* Resolve installation and commissioning issues using practical problem‑solving
* Provide clear project updates covering progress, risks, and next steps
About You
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar)
* 3-5 years' experience delivering engineering projects in manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong hands‑on installation and commissioning experience
* Comfortable working in live production environments, including shutdowns
* Practical, outcome‑focused, and confident working on site
