About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to lead our Housing Services team. As a Housing Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the delivery of housing services and supporting vulnerable communities across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and inspire a team to ensure high performance, professional development, and a strong values-driven culture.
* Take ownership of all aspects of team leadership, from recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance management, through to coaching, mentoring, and facilitating regular debriefs to support wellbeing and resilience.
* Act as the escalation point for complex cases, providing expert guidance and ensuring decisions align with organisational policies, government regulations, and sector best practice.
* Ensure your team consistently meets service standards, legislative requirements, and contractual obligations.
* Manage and report on service and business performance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the expansion of housing services in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
* A genuine passion for wanting to support vulnerable people in our community.
* Solid working knowledge and understanding of community, social and/or public housing sectors.
* Demonstrated relevant experience in program management.
* Previous experience in managing and mentoring staff, ensuring high level service delivery while promoting a positive work culture.
* Demonstrated experience in resolving day-to-day problems, including remaining calm when unexpected circumstances arise.
* Reporting and financial management experience to ensure appropriate use of resources.
* A high level of organisational and administration skills.
* Relevant qualification in community services/social welfare.
