The Role: As Special Counsel, you’ll be trusted with full carriage of a genuinely varied mix of disputes. You’ll be a key mentor to a talented junior lawyer and collaborate closely with the Melbourne and Sydney litigation teams, including two highly respected partners who foster an open door, genuinely supportive environment. What You’ll Work On A full suite of commercial disputes including: • Commercial litigation • Insolvency and debt recovery matters • Property disputes • Construction litigation The client base is predominantly entrepreneurial SMEs and high-net-worth individuals—clients who value direct access to senior lawyers and expect strong commercial guidance. You’ll be central to the practice’s growth by tapping into your referral networks to bring in new files and helping to shape the next phase of the Melbourne team’s expansion.
