We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Administrator to play a key role in managing and reviewing various contracts across our entities, including Service, Consultancy & Construction Agreements.
In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact internally, using your skills to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards. Your contributions will drive continuous improvement in our contract management processes, helping to streamline workflows and resolve issues quickly.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Conduct comprehensive reviews of contrcats including consultancy agreements, service agreements, and works contracts, to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Liaise with stakeholders as the primary contact for contract-related queries, ensuring clear and timely communication.
* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, managing the contract inbox and workflow processes to optimise efficiency, streamline operations, and ensure timely responses to queries.
* Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in negotiations of contract terms with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring favourable terms and minimising risks for the organisation.
* Identify issues or potential risks within contract terms and propose alternative amendments that align with the organisation's legal framework and strategic objectives.
* Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, regulations and ethical business practices
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve contract queries and support smooth negotiations
Your Skills
* Previous experience in reviewing high-value commercial contracts, with a focus on the construction/service industry.
* Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial principles, with a proven ability to identify risks and ensure compliance.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain contractual issues and risks to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* An understanding of post-signing contract management and dispute resolution.
* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or work experience in a related field.
