SAP Applications Project Manager – Distribution Centre Automation
Role Purpose
Lead the delivery of the Group Digital applications scope for a major automated distribution centre initiative. You will manage the full lifecycle from design and build through to integration, testing, and transition to BAU support.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Delivery: Manage applications delivery across SAP ECC, EWM, TM, and integration middleware (CPI).
* Vendor & Partner Management: Act as the primary interface for Systems Integrators and application vendors to ensure commercial and delivery obligations are met.
* Governance & Controls: Direct project dimensions including scope, schedule, and budget while navigating complex risk and issue management.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate across Architecture, Cyber Security, Data, and Supply Chain functions to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
* Team Leadership: Lead a combined team of internal resources and SI partners (approximately 3-6 direct and 20-25 indirect reports).
Skills & Experience
* Senior Expertise: 10+ years of project delivery experience within complex corporate application environments.
* Technical Knowledge: Proven experience implementing SAP ECC, EWM, and TM solutions.
* Methodology: High proficiency in structured PM methodologies (PMBOK/Prince2) and tools like MS Project.
* Domain Exposure: Background in Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Enterprise-level digital transformation.
