* Opportunity for an energetic water and wastewater operator/technician working with a progressive, rewarding science-based company.
* Working at customer wastewater plants in the Mackay area.
4 day (12hrs/day) week - Monday to Thursday.
* We will provide on job training for a person with limited experience.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
A relevant qualification in water operations (eg Certificate III in Water Operators) is required.
Previous experience as a wastewater treatment plant operator or similar role is highly desirable.
A sound understanding of wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
Strong mechanical and control systems aptitude.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivation, enthusiasm and can work well in a team or unsupervised.
Competent computer skills, including the use of Word and Excel, and the ability to learn various basic computer programs.
Physically fit, mobile and able to work outdoors.
Valid driver's license.
