System Administrator Job Summary
This position involves managing a large enterprise environment with multiple security enclaves. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining Windows and Linux workstations, troubleshooting application functionality, and providing remote end-user desktop support.
The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in Active Directory Administration, DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP, Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016, Application Troubleshooting, Linux Operating System, Service Now, ITIL v3 or higher, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. Familiarity with PowerShell, Virtualization Environments, Profile management utilizing VMware User Experience Management toolset, Microsoft Exchange, Telephone/Video support, Networking, and site-specific customer and mission knowledge is a plus.
Certification Requirement: IAT II
Job Responsibilities:
* System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical environments.
* Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance.
* Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience.
* Assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
* Provide remote end-user desktop support.
* Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions.
