They are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred services to diverse customers experiencing complex housing challenges.About the OpportunityAs a Housing Officer, you will:Deliver tenancy and property management services including home visits, inspections, and dispute resolution.Assess housing applications, manage allocations, and liaise with support agencies.Maintain accurate records using Microsoft and departmental systems.Engage in regular field work, requiring vigilance and risk management.Promote workplace safety and uphold ethical and culturally sensitive practices.This is a 4-week temporary role with the possibility of extension, based in Cairns, working full-time hours.About YouYou will bring:Resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A commitment to ethical, professional, and culturally sensitive service delivery.Ability to work collaboratively and manage unexpected events.A current Class C Driver's License (mandatory).
