St Paul's Catholic College, Booragul is inviting applications for a Temporary Part-Time (0.2 FTE) Secondary English Teacher, commencing January 2026 every Friday.
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the power of language? This role supports students—particularly those with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D)—to build confidence and communication skills. You'll have the chance to collaborate with experienced educators and curriculum leaders to enhance your teaching toolkit. The role allows you to maintain other commitments while still engaging in meaningful teaching.
Responsibilities
Deliver English teaching for Stages 4–6 as a 0.2 FTE role, with classes every Friday.
Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs and abilities and contribute to the creation of effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs.
Utilise assessment data to optimise educational outcomes and collaborate with school staff and the wider community to establish productive partnerships.
Contribute to a faith-filled educational experience aligned with the Catholic ethos and culture of the school.
Qualifications and Experience
Four-year trained teacher qualification.
Active NSW/NSW ACT Catholic Systemic Schools teaching accreditation as applicable.
Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
Completion of anaphylaxis and CPR training.
Experience teaching Stages 4–6 is desirable.
Skills and Attributes

Ability to plan and prepare contemporary, compliant teaching programs and assessments that address diverse learning styles.
Demonstrated ability to use assessment data to drive outcomes and to work collaboratively with staff and the broader community.
