In this role you will work collaboratively, build, and maintain strong relationships with other areas within Human Resources Branch, Department of Health and Hospital and Health Services to ensure consultation, operations, and strategic direction is aligned.
What you'll do
Manage and facilitate responses to complex and sensitive request from the office of the Senior Director, Chief Human Resources Officer, Deputy Director-General and other executive officers to ensure resolution of issues to completion and a successful outcome is achieved.
Manage the key relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders across the agency and outside the department.
Represent HR Business Intelligence in a wide range of settings, including in various internal and external agency meetings, as required, to achieve the best possible outcomes for the organisation.
Manage the effective coordination of responses to correspondence, briefs, reports, submissions and ministerial required.
Lead and manage the staffing and administrative aspects of the office, ensuring that effective and efficient processes are implemented to support operations.
Provide the office executive with a wide range of expert strategic, tactical and operational advice, analysis and support to enable effective strategic decision-making and risk minimisation though maintaining an intimate knowledge of current and emerging issues and priorities impacting the branch.
About you
**We are searching for someone with**:
Experience in providing sensitive, coordinated, confidential and complex support to senior executives within large complex public sector organisations
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal skills, as well as good team building and networking skills
Demonstrated strategic, conceptual, critical thinking, and analytical capability relevant to a range of social and health priority areas and a proven record of accomplishment in identifying, negotiating, influencing, and implementing solutions to complex problems.
High level expertise in change management, organisational improvement and best practice concepts and initiatives.
Demonstrated project management skills, including the capability to develop, implement, analyse and evaluation policy and program-related projects.
