Job Title: Building Systems Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings and systems.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
* Identify and repair faults or defects in building systems
* Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure safe working practices
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
* Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve overall facilities management
Requirements:
* A trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
* Proven experience in building maintenance and repair
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
