The position:
We are seeking to employ suitably qualified bus drivers to join our growing team. The successful applicants will play an important role in transporting our students safely to and from our College. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a caring Christian community while enjoying a flexible lifestyle.
This role offers flexible hours ranging from part time through to full time during school terms. Morning and afternoon bus runs generally operate between 6.15am – 8.30am and 2.15pm – 4.30pm weekdays. Additional opportunities are often available for sports, excursion and events providing extra hours for those who would like them.
We are seeking team members who take pride in their work, demonstrate professionalism and care in their interactions with students and families, and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and service that Hillcrest Christian College is known for.
Essential Selection Criteria
The successful applicant would demonstrate:
* Commitment to the College's vision, mission and values
* Ability to work flexible hours
* Previous bus driving in a school setting or experience with children highly regarded
* Safe driving record
* MR (Medium Rigid) licence or higher
* Current Queensland Drivers Authority (DA) Note: A NSW DA maybe required for NSW work
* Certified Driver Safety Assessment Report (as required from time to time)
* Current Positive Notice Blue Card (Working with Children)
* Reliability and punctuality
