Synergie Australia is seeking Boilermakers to join our team for our FIFO client located in the Northern Territory.
The important parts:
* 13 days on / 8 days off FIFO roster with charter points from Brisbane, Cairns or Darwin
* Pay Rate: $55 - $60.50 per hour (dependant on experience) flat rate | 12-hour days
* Immediate start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate
What you will be required to do:
* Carry out welding duties using MMAW and FCAW welding techniques on structural steel (gasless wire techniques are used)
* Follow all company and industry safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
* Flexibility and adaptability in this role are key to being an effective member of the team
To be successful in the role you will:
* Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a heavy construction, mining, or industrial setting
* Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or the equivalent
* Must hold a current High Risk Work license for EWP over 11m, Working at Heights ticket, Confined Space Entry ticket, and Manual Driver's Licence
* Proficiency in multiple welding techniques and familiarity with structural steel fabrication. Ability to pass FCAW and MMAW weld tests onsite (3F, 3G, 4F, 4G)
* Must be Clean Shavenfor fit mask testing requirements
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
