As a Senior Administration & Compliance Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Claims and Compliance Team—acting as the vital connection between our team and our Mentors.

Partnering with Mentors across our Cairns and far North Queensland operations, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and compliance support that strengthens service delivery, boosts organisational efficiency, and ensures we meet all Federal and State Government requirements.

Your work will include negotiating and managing Wage Subsidy agreements at site level, as well as applying your strong knowledge of relevant Deeds and approved guidelines to ensure compliance at every step.

Experience in a similar role within the Employment Services sector, would be advantageous.

This position is based in Cairns. There will be a requirement to travel to other offices within Cairns and Far North Queensland region to support our Mentors.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

* Extensive experience in providing compliance, with a strong emphasis on high-level administrative support.

* Previous experience (3+ years) in Workforce Australia programs, or a compliance or processing role, or relevant experience in administration or office support with exposure to compliance tasks

* High level interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, engage and negotiate confidently with staff at all levels

* Demonstrated ability to work independently with confidence and initiative

* Working with sensitive information and adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy principles

* Participation in staff meetings and teams meetings

* Willingness to undertake further training as deemed appropriate

* The capability to analyse situations and develop effective solutions to complex administrative challenges, preparing reports, producing and analysing data

* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team to achieve outcomes for multiple teams, guide and motivate a team towards common goals

* Effective communication and reporting mechanisms to Claims Coordinator

* Meet contractual timeframes to claim, collate documentation and prepare claims and compliance reports as requested, maintain integrity of claims taken
