The Family Support Services program, funded by Territory Families, Housing and Communities in partnership with Danila Dilba, transforms lives by delivering exceptional support to those facing complex challenges and trauma.
This role is vital for strengthening connections between a network of service providers and government agencies, ensuring services are high-quality, efficient, and work together seamlessly to prevent unnecessary intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate an innovative and responsive service system to tackle high-needs situations, helping families thrive and navigate through tough times.
* Build partnerships, foster collaboration, and drive evidence-based outcomes to contribute to positive change, support community empowerment, and work on the cutting edge of family support services.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree with specialisation in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology or a related subject area. Master's qualification preferred.
* A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
* Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open-minded and non-judgmental manner.
* Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency.
Working Conditions:
* Valid and current Driver's Licence;
* Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
* Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk-assessed / client-facing roles). MacKillop can assist successful candidates with their application.
