About the Role:
The Division of Surgery is responsible for delivering inpatient and outpatient surgical services. The Division includes Non-Admitted Patient Services (NAPS), Surgical Bookings and Pre-Admission Clinic, Anaesthesia, Pain Management Unit, Operating Theatres, Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit, Day Surgery Unit, Admissions, Day Procedure Unit, Endoscopy, and specialist surgical ward areas.
The Administrative Officer role within the Non-Admitted Patient Services department is responsible for front line customer service including reception and phone duties. This role works in a team environment and key responsibilities include appointment scheduling, referral and waitlist management, and liaison with patients and clinical personnel.
