I-MED is pleased to be offering an exciting new Full-Time/Part Time Permanent opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Reporting to the Area Nuclear Coordinator, you will be based in the Northwest Melbourne Region. This role is Monday– Friday with hours from 8:00am – 5:00pm and participation in On-Call is highly encouraged.
As a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings as well as integrated exposure to PET across the NW corridor of Melbourne.

Key Accountabilities Include
Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
Applicants must be AHPRA Registered
Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required.
