Job Title: Residential Aged Care Funding Professional
Overview: As part of a team of experienced aged care professionals, your role will involve visiting residential aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool.
This position is located in Bendigo and involves undertaking AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes in the Loddon Mallee aged care planning region on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care.
The successful candidate will have comprehensive training and support provided to assist them in their new role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Visit aged care facilities to assess residents using the AN-ACC assessment tool.
* Undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes in the Loddon Mallee aged care planning region.
* Travel within the Loddon Mallee ACPR with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities.
* Provide accurate and timely assessments to inform care planning and decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in the aged care sector.
* Current, general, unrestricted registration with the relevant health profession registering authority.
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
* Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances.
* Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities.
* Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team.
Benefits:
* Highly attractive salary - $104,550 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.

* Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
