About the role
We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. We're looking for a manager to support building and embedding a contemporary Line 1 risk governance, reporting and insights function within our Business Risk Management team. You'll support the establishment of the strategy, be part of a high‐performing team, and partner with senior leaders across the enterprise to uplift risk maturity and drive consistent practices aligned to ART's Risk Management Framework.
Day to day, you'll:
* Support the Risk Governance team's strategy and operating model;
* Ensure effective risk forums and rhythms are in place across the enterprise; coordinate Line 1 risk reporting for executive and board forums; identify enterprise‐wide insights and priorities.
* Lead the annual Trustee Risk Management Declaration and support risk appetite metric assessment and reporting.
* Participate to the maintenance of a Line 1 risk community of practice across the enterprise and lift risk capability across the business.
* Design and implement Line 1 risk reporting and analytics frameworks; leverage AI and emerging tech to deliver efficient, decision‐ready insights.
* Partner with the business, their line 1 risk managers, Line 2 and Line 3 to embed robust risk culture and practices and contribute to board‐level reporting.

About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
* Tertiary qualifications in Risk, Business, Law or related discipline.
* Deep knowledge of enterprise/operational risk and compliance within superannuation/insurance‐in‐super, including APRA prudential standards.
* Strong Line 1 and/or Line 2 experience across governance, control frameworks, incident management, analytics and Board reporting.
* Strong experience within the Financial Services industry, especially within Superannuation industry
* Proven team leadership and change capability; able to operate at pace amid ambiguity while balancing BAU, future design and transformation.
