Support Associate Role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Associate.


About the Job

This role involves providing essential care and support to children, young people, and adults who may be facing various challenges. As a Support Associate, you will work closely with individuals across age groups, assisting with personal care and daily living skills.

You will also plan and attend appointments and activities for social interaction and skill development, ensuring that each person receives the tailored support they need to thrive.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while developing your skills and expertise in disability support.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
* Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Develop and implement personalized plans to support individuals' goals and objectives.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and stakeholders.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive.
* A current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDSWC).
* A willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
* Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support are highly regarded but not essential.
