Want casual work teaching coding and creativity to children during the school holidays? Code Camp are looking for enthusiastic casual instructors to teach programs in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, animation, craft and more!
Is this you?
* Experienced or interested in working with kids (ages 5-12)?
* Passionate about technology and creativity? (Think coding, AI, animation, video game building, YouTube & video editing, design, music production, or STEM!)
* Trustworthy, independent, punctual, and reliable?
* Able to work full days during the upcoming school holidays (6 – 19 April) and ongoingly throughout the year
* Confident speaking in front of a group and a good problem solver?
About the position:
You'll be provided a structured lesson plan to deliver to a small class of primary-aged children, helping them create their very own games, animations, designs, or digital projects!
* Camps run for 2-3 consecutive weekdays, 8am – 4pm (we do not run on weekends or public holidays)
* Paid training provided, plus support from a qualified teacher on-site and our online tech team.
* Staff must supply their own laptop and HDMI adapter.
* Ongoing casual work available in our After School Programs and future holiday camps!
Required Skills/Certifications:
While no specific degree is required, you should have some or all of the following:
* Experience or knowledge in coding, game building, animation, video editing, design, AI, music production, or STEM. No need to be an expert on all fields, opt into the camps you’re interested in.
* Prior experience working with young kids (aged 5-12) highly desirable
* Mature outlook, common sense, and the ability to be proactive
* Fluent conversational English.
* Valid Employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain immediately)
