About the Position
This full‑time Sous Chef position offers $80K-$85K (negotiable) and suits a technically strong, hands‑on chef with proven leadership capability. You’ll work closely with senior kitchen leadership to maintain quality, support the team, and contribute to menu direction. Position Description
- Lead daily kitchen operations with confidence across key sections
- Maintain food safety standards, ordering, and stock control
- Support, guide, and mentor a young and energetic kitchen team
- Assist with menu development and collaborate closely with senior leadership
- Step up to oversee service operations as required
Position Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years as a Sous Chef, or strong CDP ready to step up
- Strong technical skills and sound food safety knowledge
- Positive leadership style suited to developing and supporting a young team
- Flexibility across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
