Opportunity
We are seeking multiple Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to join our on-site teams.
In this role you will conduct ongoing preventative and predictive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation assets, ensuring plant standards of efficiency, quality and safety are achieved.
The role operates on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster with occasional 7 nights on / 7 days off night shift duties.
Qualifications
WA "A" grade Electrical Licence
HV switching operations certificate
Cert III or IV Instrumentation (desirable)
Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems (desirable)
Team player with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of process plant equipment
National Police clearance
Eligibility: Must be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance activities for electrical and instrumentation systems on process equipment according to the maintenance plan.
Troubleshoot electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures, collecting evidence for further analysis.
Install and maintain electrical infrastructure, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct statutory electrical inspections and testing, recording results in compliance with regulations.
Manage high-voltage switching and maintain high-voltage assets.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Document maintenance activities, work order completions, and other relevant details accurately in the maintenance management system (SAP).
