Join the YEM Technology Team – Dual Trade Electrician and Refrigeration Technician
YEM Technology is seeking an experienced Dual Trade Electrician and Refrigeration Technician to join our team at the Sino Iron Project, located at Cape Preston, 100 km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia.
This is a FIFO role from Perth, supporting site-based facilities and operational infrastructure. The successful applicant will be working at 2 week on 1 week off roster (dayshift only).

About the Role
As a Dual Trade Electrician and Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across site facilities.
Responsibilities
* Preventative and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
* Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
* Servicing split systems, ducted systems and packaged units
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
* Completing maintenance reports and documentation
* Working independently and as part of a broader maintenance team
What We're Looking For
* Relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Cert III)
* Current WA Electrical Licence
* Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
* High Risk Licence (WP, LF, DG, RB)
* Working at Heights
* Perform Rescue from a live LV panel
* Current First Aid Ticket
* Licence to operate a bridge and gantry crane (TLILIC0016)
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Valid Drivers License
* Ability to wear a 3M 7500 mask while working, clean shaven
* Construction Card
Additional Requirements
* Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
* Demonstrated experience in mining, remote, or heavy industry environments (preferred)
* Sound safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
