Senior Management Accountant, you will partner with operational leaders to drive financial performance and governance across our Broadmeadow site. You'll lead a small team, provide strategic insights, and ensure accurate reporting to support decision‑making at all levels. This role will be based at our Broadmeadow Facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and present annual budgets and forecasts.
* Deliver monthly financial reports, commentary, and KPI analysis.
* Support strategic planning and business improvement initiatives.
* Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, and risk analysis.
* Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
About You
You bring a wealth of relevant experience in business finance or accounting, preferably within a rail, automotive, military, aviation, defence, avionics, or any safety‑critical environment.
Key Skills and Experience
* 8+ years' experience in management accounting or business finance.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in SAP, Excel (pivot tables), and reporting dashboards.
* Proven ability to independently organise and prioritise multiple complex tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment with competing priorities.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective negotiation and influencing abilities.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people at various levels, both internally and externally.
