This role is suited to an engineer who combines strong technical HVAC design capability with proven project leadership experience and enjoys working closely with clients, architects, project managers and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The Opportunity
Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of mechanical building services solutions from concept through to construction.
You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continued growth of the business while maintaining a strong focus on client service and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver HVAC and mechanical building services solutions across a variety of sectors.
* Manage projects from feasibility and concept design through to construction and handover.
* Coordinate with electrical, hydraulic, fire and sustainability disciplines.
* Attend client meetings and provide technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
* Undertake site inspections and construction phase support.
* Manage project programmes, budgets and resource allocation.
* Review and approve technical documentation and design deliverables.
* Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
About You
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience within an Australian Building Services consultancy environment.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC design, NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
* Demonstrated experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
