About Our Market Development Team
The WA Market Development and Energy Procurement division drives innovation and transformation in the WEM and GSI, addressing reforms as needed.
As the centre for DER expertise and market design, our team is responsible for delivering reforms under the DER Roadmap and related DER management priorities for AEMO.
You will leverage your subject matter knowledge to evaluate, prosecute, advocate, influence and implement market reforms that align with AEMO's strategy.
This requires close collaboration internally and with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies and rule/policy makers to progress market developments.
We are particularly focused on integrating DER into the WEM and SWIS.
Your Key Responsibilities:

2. Apply technical insights across markets, systems and processes
3. Effectively communicate and influence for market reforms
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
