Senior Business Development Manager

This critical role is pivotal in the relationships we forge with our partners, determining the value we can deliver to our clients and the business as a whole.

We are seeking an individual who has a proven track record of account management and/or as a distribution buyer for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products. This person should be adept at negotiation, believe that building genuine relationships yields great business outcomes, and have a strong understanding of the complementary health sector or FMCG business in Australia.

* Foster and maintain a relationship with our suppliers as the primary point of contact for our brands;
* Run a regular call cycle with our brands to collaborate on new partnership opportunities, sales promotions, and marketing initiatives, and resolve any issues on either side;
* Negotiate terms and distributorship agreements with both new and existing brands;
* Collaborate with the Product, Finance, and Operations teams to evaluate brand and product performance;
* Identify new brands and opportunities and collaborate with the Product team to assess and onboard new brands;
* Collaborate with the Brands and the Marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and joint business plans;
* Provide regular and ad-hoc reports and insights to brands and internal stakeholders;
* Participate at industry events to gather brand leads.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience as a senior business development manager and/or as a distributor buyer for FMCG products;
* Experience and understanding of the complementary health sector or FMCG business in Australia;
* Demonstrated skills in trading term or selling negotiation;
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen with the current right to work in Australia.
