About the Role
We are seeking a Consultant Specialist Anaesthetist to join a major tertiary and teaching hospital within a large public health service in Townsville, QLD - commencing as soon as possible.

This is a full-time position situated in a stunning coastal region boasting 300+ days of sunshine annually, direct access to the Great Barrier Reef, and located approximately 20 minutes from the airport.

About You
* Fellowship in Anaesthesia including FANZCA, FRCA (UK), or FCAI (Ireland)
* CCT, CSCST or CESR in Anaesthesia for UK/Irish-trained candidates
* Eligibility for specialist registration in Australia
* Final-year FANZCA trainees will also be considered
* Enthusiasm for teaching and training in a tertiary hospital setting
* Dedication to delivering clinical excellence across diverse anaesthetic practice
* Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
* Experience or interest in cardiac anaesthesia (highly valued)
