Green Space Leaders
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team leader to join our gardening team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and a proven ability to lead and manage a team.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience, as well as a White Card and a current driver's license. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively prioritize work and develop junior team members.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance skills and safety practices.
* Undertake hands-on work including mowing, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, mulching, planting, and general garden care.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
* Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles safely.
* Report progress, issues, and requirements to management.
* Pest and disease identification and treatment.
* Maintain high horticultural standards and attention to detail.
