You will bridge the gap between rigid compliance and expansion, ensuring our systems run smoothly even as volume increases.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Administration team, fostering a culture where "support" means excellence, accuracy, and speed.
* Scalability & Automation: You will identify bottlenecks that slow down our service departments and build automated workflows (leveraging AI and digital tools) to reduce manual friction.
* The Compliance Guardian: You are ultimately accountable for maintaining our ISO 9001 and NATA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditations, ensuring our "backbone" is built on absolute integrity and traceability.
* Resource Optimisation: You will oversee project scheduling and resource allocation, ensuring our technical staff are deployed efficiently to meet client needs.
* Safety & Standards: Maintain oversight of WHS legislation, risk assessments, and equipment calibration, ensuring our field teams remain safe and compliant.
Who You Are
You are the person who finds satisfaction in a perfectly executed workflow. You understand that "back office" does not mean "back seat"—it means you are holding the business together.
* Experienced: You have 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, specifically within an ISO 9001 / NATA ISO/IEC 17025 or similar accredited environment.
* Operations Management Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of operations management experience is required for this role.
* Growth Mindset: You are not satisfied with "how it's always been done." You proactively look for ways to improve efficiency and support business growth .
* Service-Oriented: You view your internal colleagues as your primary clients. You have a track record of building teams that are responsive and helpful.
