City of Nedlands Volunteer Program – Nedlands WA
As the Italian Conversation Group Facilitator, you will share your love of the Italian language and culture with adult community members. The Nedlands Library is looking for a native or fluent Italian speaker to lead an ongoing Italian conversation group that meets weekly on Thursdays from 10:30am to 11:30am at Nedlands Library.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate an ongoing Italian conversation group for adults with varying language skills.
* Initiate conversations on topics of interest to create a supportive and comfortable atmosphere.
* Encourage participants to speak Italian and practice their skills.
* Lead sessions on a weekly schedule (Thursday 10:30am–11:30am) at Nedlands Library.
* Provide a welcoming environment and monitor group dynamics.
Qualifications
* Native or fluent Italian speaker.
* Previous teaching experience is helpful but not essential.
* Good facilitation and communication skills; ability to support learners with varying levels.
