SYNOPSIS:
The Operations Coordinator oversees the complex operational systems, processes, resourcing and day-to-day functions of the Learning Department of the National Gallery of Australia. The position leads a high performing team in the delivery who provide superior customer service, while coordinating bookings for school programs, guided tours and access programs. The role oversees the deployment of resources across programs, including rostering of casual staff, ticketing, web CMS and venue management. The Operations Coordinator works quickly and collaboratively to resolve challenges and complexities in the daily operations of the Learning Department, with a focus on providing positive outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. The role contributes to business improvement practices and oversees data management for reporting purposes.
This is a non-ongoing role for a period of 12 months with the possibility of becoming ongoing.
