Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and suppliers
* Clearly explain the scope of work and expectations to subcontractors, including sequencing, quality requirements, and timeframes
* Study and understand all architectural and structural drawings and ensure construction and finishes follow the final approved drawings
* Monitor quality of workmanship, set-out accuracy, and ensure all works meet required standards
* Follow the construction program within the online project management system, keep work progressing to schedule, and report delays early
* Provide regular site updates to the Project Management Team and complete detailed daily site logs for the builder and PM team
* Check project selections (fixtures, finishes, materials) to ensure they work technically and deliveries arrive on time to prevent delays
* Identify defects or incomplete works from subcontractors and report in writing, including photos and follow-up actions
* Communicate effectively with the Project Management Team, subcontractors, and the client to solve problems quickly and keep progress moving
Hands-On / Working Foreman Duties
* Be confident using tools and completing general carpentry and building work when needed
* Step in to fix minor issues, adjustments, finishing tasks, and make-good works to maintain workflow and avoid stoppages
* Assist with general construction tasks to support trades and ensure the schedule does not slow down
Safety
* Conduct daily safety checks, ensure WHS compliance, and fix any safety issues immediately
* Maintain a clean, organised site to support productivity and reduce risks
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Pay: $70,878.38 – $100,000.00 per year
