Payment Operations Specialist – Global Banking (Australia Region)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payment Operations Specialist to join a leading global financial institution's Australia-based team within Global Banking. This role is instrumental in driving the successful rollout of payment operations initiatives across the region, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting critical implementation projects.
* Lead and manage payment operation projects across the Australia region.
* Support the rollout and implementation of payment solutions within the branch, including identifying local requirements and enhancements.
* Serve as a key local contact for all payment operations-related matters.
* Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solution integrity, and coordinate resolution of issues.
* Monitor and manage operational defects and escalation processes.
* Collaborate on management reporting, issue escalation, and risk management.
* Conduct analysis of payment process flows to optimize operational efficiency.
* Deliver post-implementation support and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ongoing operational queries across the region.
* Ensure full operational readiness ahead of project go-lives, including staff training and documentation updates.
* Support day-to-day operational tasks including reconciliations, reporting, and daily payment processing.
