About the roles

Permanent Full Time
$61K- $63K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking an energetic and motivated labourer to support the effective delivery of daily operations across Council's parks, landscapes, and open spaces.
This role contributes to various initiatives and programs aligned with community expectations and industry standards, and also assists with Natural Resource Management programs as needed.
The position involves a range of general horticultural and labouring duties, including maintaining landscapes through mowing, planting, and weeding of gardens, applying weed control measures, watering, and undertaking maintenance of irrigation systems.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in general labouring tasks related to the maintenance of parks and gardens, along with demonstrated ability in the use and upkeep of horticultural machinery and equipment.
Mandatory Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver's licence
General Safety Induction for Construction Work Cert (White Card)
Desirable Qualifications
Certificate III in Horticulture
MR Truck Drivers Licence
Commercial Operators Licence (Unrestricted)
