Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.
About the role:
Due to internal promotion, we are now accepting applications for a Site Accountant to be located at our Bell Bay manufacturing facility, located 35 minutes from Launceston.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will provide support and assistance to the finance team and site managers in all financial related matters to assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function at the Bell Bay site.
This role will suit someone with experience in finance / accounting roles who can demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of accounts to trial balance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Reconciliation of the general ledger accounts and producing daily/weekly/monthly KPI reports and analysis within the specified guidelines across the Bell Bay site.
* Actively involved in the monthly business and S&OP financial forecasting process and annual budget / strategic plan.
* Maintain site fixed asset register including monthly depreciation entries
* Support product costing processes and ensure Pronto standard costs are accurate
Q Qualifications and Qualities that you will bring to Timberlink:
* Diploma / Degree in Accounting/ similar or actively studying for completion
* Experience with financial and management reporting
* Advanced MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
* Use of an integrated ERP
* Experience within a manufacturing industry preferred but not essential
