Established 25 years ago, Boss Gardenscapes is a leading family-run boutique landscape design, construction and maintenance company based in Brisbane. Consistently winning and recognised in the Landscape Queensland residential awards, the quality of our projects speak for themselves. Several of Boss' non-Director staff have been with the business for many years – some more than a decade.
Due to continued growth, multiple opportunities now exist with Boss for full-time gardeners.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a close-knit horticultural maintenance team who have more than 25 years of combined landscaping experience, you'll be responsible for maintaining Brisbane's finest residential gardens.
Responsibilities include:
* Gardening tasks such as hedging, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, mulching and fertilising to the highest standard
* Ensuring irrigation is maintained and fully operational
* Maintaining cleanliness, functionality and orderly presentation of pathways and driveways
* Identification of garden pests & plant diseases
* Completion of garden maintenance reports, providing updates to our Horticultural Manager and the client, as needed
About You
Although our ideal candidate will have prior gardening experience, it's not a pre-requisite If you have the right personal attributes (enthusiasm, dedication, willingness to learn, and a love of gardening) please apply to see where a career with Boss can take you.
Must have:
* Current drivers licence and your own transport
* Full working rights in Australia
* Physical fitness & the ability to perform manual labour tasks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Ideal:
* High knowledge/previous experience with gardening duties (incl operation of gardening equipment)
* Horticultural certification or similar
*Please note that although our gardens are primarily situated in inner Brisbane (Ascot, Clayfield, Hamilton) you'll be required to travel to other suburbs.
