About the role:
In this role you will:
• Develop strategies for complex problems, find innovative solutions and provide authoritative strategic and operational advice to management, clients and staff relating to the management of State land and stock routes using highly developed analytical, research and evaluation skills.
• Consult and negotiate with higher level clients and stakeholders on activities relating to the management of State land and the State's stock route network using high level written and verbal communication skills.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate projects to achieve results within allocated timeframes, in a changing environment, to deliver key business priorities and initiatives.
• Make sound and defendable delegated decisions under legislation.
• Professionally represent the department at interdepartmental, agency and stakeholder meetings and forums as required.
• Other duties as directed and required.

What we're looking for:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and business processes.
• Ability to lead and supervise a geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary team.
• The possession of a current C class driver's licence is desirable.
• Travel away from the centre may be required.
This may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.
