This site-based position reports to the Plant Engineering Manager at our GMP Manufacturing facility in Clayton, Melbourne. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll lead electrical work execution, coordination, and compliance, troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring safety and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
* Supervising electrical work orders via CMMS.
* Coordinating equipment specification, fabrication, procurement, installation, and start-up.
* Leading remediation efforts for deviations and emergency work.
* Supporting deviation investigations and CAPA as the electrical SME.
* Developing electrical procedures, safe work methods, and practices.
* Ensuring electrical work meets EHS standards, including LOTO, hot works, and working at heights.
Additional Responsibilities
* Participating in reliability-centered electrical programs, budgeting, and quality metrics.
* Supporting audits with cGMP compliance.
* Supervising and developing electrical standards and maintaining records.
* Providing on-call support for plant operations.
* Maintaining Trainer certification for OJT delivery.
* Performing other duties to support operations.

Qualifications
* Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical preferred) or Trade qualification with Electrical License.
* 6-10 years in a regulated environment, sterile manufacturing experience preferred.
* Proficiency in electrical supply, instrumentation, PLCs, HMI/SCADA, drives, and GMP standards.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements (TGA, FDA, EMA).
* Skills in equipment validation, electrical safety, CMMS, and technical communication.
* Ability to manage priorities, investigate issues, and drive improvements.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
* Site-based role requiring full-time presence at Moderna's site.
