Casual Opportunity Available Provide Administrative support to the International Agreements Team HEO6 $70.63 superannuation About the opportunity The University of Sydney is looking for a Foreign Arrangements and Agreements Officer to join on a casual basis. This role provides administrative support, including vetting, analysis, and reporting, for the University’s portfolio of international agreements that formalise education, student mobility, and general partnerships. Your key responsibilities will be to: Support compliance with the Foreign Arrangements Scheme Supports the University in responding to requests for information from DFAT related to the Foreign Arrangements Scheme Works closely with agreement sponsors and other internal stakeholders to assess whether proposed international agreements align with the University’s International Collaboration Principles Responds to a range of enquiries via telephone, email and in person, from staff, partner universities and students Cross check agreements ensuring accuracy Coordinates first and second stage notifications to DFAT under the Foreign Arrangements Scheme About you Has prior experience in a similar role Has excellent attention to detail Chinese language skills will be advantageous Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Has excellent research, interpersonal and analytical skills Has excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build and maintain relationships on all levels Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
