About the Company
Our client is an importer and distributor of agricultural products from fertiliser, to agrochemicals, twine and irrigation tapes. Over the past 10 years, the business has grown continuously, and in the coming months will be consolidating multiple warehouses and relocating to a new office and warehouse.
About the role
Our client is now seeking a National Sales Manager who will oversee the national sales strategy, lead and grow the team to drive expansion, build customer relationships, and deliver consistent, sustainable results. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, hands‐on agricultural knowledge, and a deep commitment to supporting the local farming community.
Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application)
* Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with business goals
* Establish, lead, mentor and motivate the regional sales team
* Expand and maintain relationships with key clients and distributors
* Identify new market opportunities and oversee their development
* Represent the company at agricultural events, conferences, and field days
Education / Experience / Skills
Minimum 10 years of senior level experience in agricultural sales or related field in Australia
Highly driven, hardworking and eager to take on challenges individual
Strategic planning skills, proven leadership, team management and project execution experience
Strong understanding of all or some of the following areas, fertilisers, irrigation products in horticulture, Australian twine market, or farm supply products
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and passion for agriculture
Ability to travel as required across Australia
